Beth H Davis, RN

Ellicott City Ambulatory Surgery Center

My nursing career started twenty-eight years ago after spending several years of out of school training employees on computer network systems.

When I returned to school for my nursing degree my focus of practice was the operating room and postoperative care.

Following graduation I spent one year at the University of Maryland Hospital in an intensive OR apprenticeship program. I was introduced to the concept of Out Patient Ambulatory Surgery Centers shortly after completed the program and have stayed in this arena for twenty-seven years. For the past fifteen years I have held Administrative positions in two previous facilities where my primary responsibilities included accreditation, state and federal compliance, staff retention and providing safe, efficient and cost effective care to our patients.

In addition to these positions I assisted two medical practices with setting up an in office OR to comply with state and federal regulations.
